new work

forest for the trees - a mixed media painting

forces - a linocut print

after shoveling about a foot of snow and a couple of advil, spent some time organizing my studio. there's still plenty to do (by plenty, i mean i've been at this for 2 weeks and i'm only half way finished). but i found an interesting way to use one of the many shoe organizers the previous owners left in the house when we bought it. you may be thinking this is sacrilegious - to use a shoe organizer for anything other than shoes. i can appreciate that sentiment but alas, i do not own enough shoes to fill so many organizers and i do have a very messy studio.

what do you think?

Hi, Lisa! Your idea of using the shoe organizer to organize your studio is great! So far from being a sacrilege :)
BTW, your work is amazing! Love the ones in this post!
